Mozena wrote
to the CEO's of more than 50 leading suppliers
of accounting software to governments, asking
them to begin preparing a software program that
will be effective for "Post
the Finances."
The program
will need to take the interactive accounting
information and convert it to static information
in the form of a checkbook register that can
be uploaded and easily viewed on the respective
city, state, county and federal governmental
Web sites.
The program
must make it easy for citizens to review and
scrutinize all daily revenues and expenditures
of all government's finances.
This initiates
the technical phase of the process of posting
the finances to the Web.
It will create
a model that all cities, counties, states and
the federal government can follow in the near
future.
