Steve Mozena, Proponent of Statewide Ballot Initiative, Arrives in Sacramento to attend Governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger's Inauguration

Sacramento, CA -Taking up an official invitation from Governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steve Mozena has arrived in Sacramento for the Governor's Inauguration. 

Mozena is the proponent of a statewide ballot initiative officially called "State Revenue and Expenditures. Initiative Statute" and known informally as "Post the Finances." It calls for every government agency in California to post all its finances to the Internet every day. The initiative is currently in circulation. 

Mozena describes his initiative as a response to California's fiscal crisis. "Post the Finances will be like an on-demand people's audit of the state's finances every single day," Mozena says. "It will reduce waste, fraud and mismanagement that costs California taxpayers millions of dollars every, day, month and year." 

Strategist Bob Winford is attending the Inauguration with Mozena. Winford has been active in promoting the Post the Finances initiative.
