Woods, 56, former California State Lawmaker
and now with WoodsBarth and Associates, hosted
the Sunday morning Prayer Breakfast at the LAX
Marriott California Republican Convention.
Mr.
Mozena attended the prayer breakfast.
After
a great breakfast, with speakers and songs,
including the final song, "God
Bless America," Mr. Woods
stood up to close the meeting. Along with the
benediction, he asked everyone to pray for Mr.
Mozena and his Post
the Finances initiative, which
begins gathering signatures in a couple of weeks
for its petition drive.
The response was amazing when Mr. Woods explained
the initiative would post all the state's finances
to the web on a daily basis on all the state's
respective web sites, the crowd of nearly 500
conventioneers broke out in spontaneous applause,
and there were hoots, hollers, and cheers in
support of the Post the Finances initiative.
Mr. Mozena was astonished and
felt very humble at this overwhelming show of
support.
With this kind of enthusiasm behind it, not
to mention the power of prayer, Post
the Finances is set to change
the landscape of how political and government
business is done in California.
