promote fiscal honesty, responsibility and accountability
at all levels of our government by developing
a grass-roots campaign at local, county, state
and federal levels urging all government agencies
to post all their daily finances to their respective
web sites. This campaign to be known as
"Post the Finances". |
To promote an online petition, and
any other measures deemed necessary, to have the "Post
the Finances" initiative appear
on the California ballot.
To
promote email, letter, telephone and other campaigns
to reach every legislator in the nation at local,
county, state and federal levels to alert them to
the desirability of "Post
the Finances".
To educate citizens and legislators about the tremendous
advantages that will accrue from having government
finances readily available on the Web for perusal
by tax-paying citizens.
